muuic is a browser-based tool which enables users to create music using their keyboard or MIDI controller. The tool sports several options to facilitate the creative process including play, stop, record, draw tools, looping, and more. It offers a digitally represented zoomable piano roll - the heart of the tool, where the user can input or create music notes. In addition, it provides a mixer and various instrument and track adjustment features such as reverb, delay, chorus, distortion, filtering, compressor, and EQ. Users can import and export projects, instruments, and effects that are saved in the native .muuic format, as well as exporting their music as WAV or MIDI files. muuic's unique feature is the ability to generate music through AI, meaning users can create custom effects through its AI panel. Instruments ranging from grand piano samples to sawtooth, square, sine, triangle, FM synth, and custom samples amongst others, can be utilized. Users can also record from the mic or upload audio files for a more personalized track. muuic includes a subscription service named 'Oomph' which provides additional features and weekly credit for AI tools. In its alpha stage, it promises real-time collaboration, AI-powered composition, and project saving for registered users.
